Do you know where your canned goods have been?
Does your groceryman wash his hands after he wipes his nose?
How long as that can sat on your pantry shelf? How thick is the dust?
Why are you potentially pushing contaminants into the food you eat by using a regular can opener?
I've been using a "safe edge" can opener for years, and love how you can temporarily reuse the lid (for pet food), or recycle cans as shipping containers (after they're washed, of course).
These "safe edge" can openers don't leave any sharp edges, either.
It is a "kitchen multitool", but designed for "folks on the go".
It has the following tools:
☀ knife
☀ fork
☀ spoon
☀ pizza cutter
☂ wooden chopsticks
☂ wooden chip fork
☀ bottle opener
So, here's my "WTF?"s in order
Q: What's a chip fork?
A: It's a fork that the English use to each their chips (french fries to us Americans)
Why do the English need to have a special implement just to eat french fries? What's wrong with a regular fork?
Q: Are the chopsticks and chip fork replaceable?
A: From what I read, the wooden implements are not replaceable. That being said, this tool will pretty much wreak havoc on the public health of whatever chip-fork-and-portable-chopstick-using society it's unleashed on within a few days of it appearing on the shelves.
